Jacob & Co. Collaborates With Artist Alec Monopoly
In line with its vision to push the limits of watchmaking, Jacob & Co. announces a partnership with world-renowned street artist Alec Monopoly. In the brand's own words, the brand will create a watch powered by the Astronomia movement "because it is a groundbreaking timepiece with one of the most innovative watch complications in the world."

Semper & Adhuc's new Instantanée LIP
French brand Semper & Adhuc presents a watch powered by the legendary LIP movement. The Instantanée LIP is powered by the LIP R100 mechanical movement – a round, hand-wound mechanical movement dating back to 1958, which LIP produced until 1970.

Watch lovers know that not all great movements are Swiss or German (though today, most are). In the 19th century, British and French watchmakers had discerning aristocrats and royalty among their customers. Founded in 1867 by Emmanuel Lipmann, LIP is the oldest watchmaking company still in operation in France.

The brand has sourced a small number of small (13.5 mm) movements and the luxury replica watches will be produced in a limited edition of 20 pieces. The signatures of the two brands are embellished on the gray dial with white minute markers and pink square hour markers. For those unaware, the purpose of the GPHG is to highlight and reward the most outstanding contemporary creations and to promote watchmaking worldwide. The annual event attracts the best of the best to showcase their latest and greatest creations, and last year Bovet's Récital 26 Brainstorm Chapter Two won the GPHG's Mechanical Exceptional Award.

This year, Bovet 1822 is proud to present this spectacular timepiece with its iconic "writing bevel" case in solid 18K red gold. Bovet's famous "writing slope" case is slightly sloped - the 12 o'clock position is higher than the 6 o'clock position, creating a gentle slope reminiscent of a writing desk.
