Poh Teck Tung Foundation, in collaboration with Huachiew Chalermprakiet University, continues its mission to promote language learning by launching the 7th edition of the “Let’s Have Fun with Chinese” program. This initiative invites children aged 6–9 years old residing in Bangkok to explore basic Chinese through engaging activities tailored to their developmental stage. The program emphasizes fun, imagination, and natural language acquisition—all completely free of charge.
Program Details:

During the program, children will learn basic Mandarin vocabulary through games, songs, and creative activities that help build everyday communication skills. Participants will also receive gifts, prizes, and snacks throughout the program.
Special Bonus for Parents:
While children attend the sessions, parents are invited to join free basic Chinese language classes, available throughout the 4-week program. This offers families a unique opportunity to learn together and spend quality time in a meaningful, educational setting.
The “Let’s Have Fun with Chinese” initiative was launched under the guidance of Dr. Vichien Techapaiboon, President of the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, who recognized the importance of early Chinese language exposure for Thai youth. This program provides a valuable foundation that prepares children for advanced language study—offering long-term benefits for both personal and national development.
To support this vision, a Subcommittee on Strengthening Chinese Language Foundations was established, consisting of 10 experts in Chinese language and culture. The subcommittee is chaired by Mr. Aran Iamsuree and oversees the pilot program, “Let’s Have Fun with Chinese,” which is taught by faculty from the College of Chinese Studies, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University.
