Huachiew Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic (formerly "Huachiew Thai-Chinese Traditional Medicine Clinic")
The Huachiew Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic, formerly known as the “Huachiew Thai-Chinese Traditional Medicine Clinic,” was established on July 5, 1995, through the noble intention of the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health. The clinic was founded to integrate the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) into medical services aimed at treatment, prevention, health promotion, and rehabilitation. This mission has led to national-level cooperation with leading academic institutions in the People's Republic of China to jointly develop a high-standard, internationally recognized TCM service system. As a result, the clinic has become a trusted and effective alternative medical service for the Thai population.

From its inception to the present, the Huachiew Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic has laid the foundation and continuously improved the quality of its TCM services. To achieve this, the clinic directly imports herbal medicines from China without intermediaries, reducing costs and increasing access to quality care. This center was established to further the development of traditional Chinese medicine in both China and Thailand. It supports the "One Belt, One Road" initiative in the field of Chinese medicine, fostering innovative forms of cooperation between top institutions such as Longhua Hospital, a renowned TCM hospital in China, and Huachiew TCM Clinic, a leading TCM center in Thailand.
This partnership elevates the global reputation of Chinese medicine and expands its development platform. It also positions Thailand as a regional hub for traditional Chinese medicine services and research in Southeast Asia — a role the clinic continues to fulfill actively to this day.
