Chinese Herbal Medicine Service Fees
The cost of Chinese herbal medicine depends on the type, form, and quantity of herbs prescribed for each individual patient. The estimated cost per prescription is approximately 800–1,200+ THB, and the medicine typically lasts for 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the dosage specified by the attending Chinese medicine doctor.

The price of herbal medicine may vary with each visit, depending on several factors including: The type and number of herbal ingredients used in the prescription, dosage required, patient's body weight, timing and season in which the medicine is prescribed. All these elements can affect the total cost of the herbal medicine. Patients are encouraged to consult with their Chinese medicine doctor for further clarification on the dosage and pricing.

1. Raw Herbs for Self-Boiling (Self-Boiled Herbal Medicine)


Chinese Herbal Prescription Processing
After a consultation, if the Chinese medicine doctor prescribes herbal medicine, the prescription details are entered into a computerized system and sent directly to the pharmacy department. The pharmacy team will then prepare the medication strictly according to the prescription, following standard operating procedures. Each package of herbs is carefully inspected before being handed over to the patient. If patients wish to request an optional vacuum-sealing service for their herbal medicine bags to help preserve freshness and prevent insect contamination, they may inform the pharmacy staff to arrange for this service.

Vacuum-Sealing Service Fee : Service charge: 20 THB per bag (Bag size: 37 × 27 cm)


2. Decoction Service (Boiled and Pre-Packaged Herbal Medicine)

Decoction and Packaging Service Fee : Service charge: 15 THB per sachet (Packaged in high-temperature resistant plastic bags)

The clinic offers a herbal decoction service for patients who prefer a convenient and ready-to-consume option. This service allows for easier storage and consumption. The processing time depends on the type of herbs and the queue volume on that day, typically ranging from 2 to 4 hours.

The herbs are decocted using a standardized pressure boiling system and vacuum-sealed packaging machine, ensuring the medicine is clean and safe. The sealed herbal decoction can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one month, depending on the type of herbs used.
*If the prescription is submitted to the pharmacy after 2:30 PM, the medicine will be available for pick-up from 10:00 AM on the following day.

Storage Instructions for Pre-Packaged Herbal Decoction
• Store in the refrigerator
• Shelf life: No longer than 1 month
• Sediment may occur, which is normal
• Always reheat before consumption
• The smell, color, and taste should not change significantly from the original. If they do, consult the pharmacy staff before taking the medicine.



3. Chinese Herbal Powder (Chinese Herbs Extract)

Chinese herbal powder (Chinese Herbs Extract) is an instant herbal tea that contains active ingredients and medicinal properties equivalent to traditional decocted herbs. This type of Chinese herbal medicine undergoes a process of extracting key compounds and drying them into small granules. It can be easily prepared by mixing with hot water and drinking immediately.

The advantages include rapid onset of action, convenience for carrying, and easy storage. The dosage and method of consumption follow the prescription given by the physician. The pharmacy department typically requires about 30 minutes to prepare the powdered herbs (extract).
