Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Huachiew Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic

On June 20, 2025, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and Huachiew Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the 6th-floor conference room of the Huachiew TCM Clinic. This signing marks the beginning of a profound partnership between the two institutions and serves as a significant milestone in the international exchange of knowledge in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

During the ceremony, Mr. Aran Iamsuree, Director of the Huachiew TCM Clinic, and Associate Professor Xue Ya Fei, Vice President of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, officially signed the MoU, affirming their shared commitment to collaboration and laying a solid foundation for long-term cooperation.

On this occasion, Vice President Xue Ya Fei expressed appreciation for the achievements of Huachiew TCM Clinic and noted that Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine — a leading institution with over 100 years of history — oversees Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the largest and most advanced TCM hospital in China. He conveyed the university’s strong willingness to support the Huachiew TCM Clinic in various areas including medical services, human resource development, academic exchange, and the promotion of TCM culture, aiming to advance TCM at an international level in a sustainable manner.

Mr. Aran Iamsuree expressed his sincere gratitude to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine for its ongoing support and emphasized that this collaboration will play a vital role in enhancing the development of the clinic. Both parties also discussed several areas of future cooperation, such as the application of TCM in reducing chemotherapy-related pain in cancer patients, development of TCM nursing personnel, and the promotion of preventive health technologies based on TCM principles.

The signing of this MoU represents a shared mission to build a collaborative platform, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote the spread and advancement of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Thailand.
